Overview

The A2 level German course is designed for learners who have completed the A1 level or
possess an equivalent basic understanding of the German language. The course aims to
enhance your ability to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic
phrases aimed at satisfying concrete needs. You will develop skills to communicate in simple
and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar topics and activities.

Course Objectives:

By the end of the course, you should be able to:
1. Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most
immediate relevance (e.g., very basic personal and family information, shopping,
local geography, employment).
2. Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information
on familiar and routine matters.
3. Describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment, and
matters in areas of immediate need.
